Shelece McAllister Luke, M.S., CFLE

Communications and Research Specialist

Shelece McAllister Luke works primarily with HRC’s Communication Team and Outcome Evaluation Team. Her other responsibilities include managing workbook orders and processing registrations for Train-the-Faciliator workhops.

Shelece graduated from Brigham Young University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development (MFHD), and in 2012 with a master’s degree in MFHD. Shelece interned with BYU’s Forever Families website in spring of 2010, during which time she wrote and published faculty-reviewed articles on improving family life. From September 2010 through April 2012, Shelece served as the Associate Editor for Forever Families, editing interns’ work prior to publication. During her time in the master’s program, Shelece worked as a research assistant for Dr. Stephen Duncan, focusing primarily on the study of premarital and marital education programs. She is the lead author on three published articles and has had the opportunity to present her research at state and national conferences. Shelece is currently a member of the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR), and through their organization has achieved certification as a Certified Family Life Educator.
